Armchair Committee

As likely to serve up a round of bludgeoning swamp rock, as they are a skewed melodic-blues elixir. One part intoxicating wall-of-noise highs, one part distilled melodic lows.

Armchair Committee are Tom Hackwell (guitar/vocals), Dave Larkin (bass guitar/vocals), and Charlie Inshaw (drums, vocals). Priding themselves on live chemistry, interaction, passion and honesty, the band have successfully carved a reputation as a ‘magnificent’ live band, ‘showing hints of the Foo's rampant melodicism and Jack White's howling blues’ (Kerrang! Magazine - KKKKK). Along the way they have shared stages with the likes of Royal Blood, Young Guns, Jim Jones Revue, Lucero, and many more.

Having released a string of self-released EP's, the band released their debut 7" single, 'Sick/Bay' through Secret Chord Records in 2014, described as ‘...thriving on a creative diet of riffs and noise which spawn a sound that clatters from blues to stoner rock in monster fashion’ (Huffington Post).

2015 saw the band move to their own Deaf Endling Records to release single 'Rawgabbit', produced by Tom Dalgety (Turbowolf, Dinosaur Pile-Up, Royal Blood). Inspired by the musical history of Bristol's Coach House Recording Studios, 'Rawgabbit' is backed with a cover of Portishead's classic track 'All Mine' on the B-side.
